Introduction
Welcome to Professor Gmee. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.
This Privacy Policy governs the use of the Professor Gmee mobile applications and services, detailing how data is processed, how artificial intelligence (AI) integrations operate, and the obligations and liabilities of users accessing the platform.
By downloading, accessing, or using Professor Gmee, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to the terms and practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Professor Gmee operates on a minimal data collection principle:
- No Mandatory Account Registration: You can access educational materials without creating an account or providing identity credentials.
- No Direct Personal Identifiers: We do not collect your name, physical address, email address, telephone number, or government-issued identification.
- No Intrusive Permissions: The app does not request access to contacts, photo galleries, microphones, or precise GPS location data.
- Anonymous Diagnostic Telemetry: Aggregated system diagnostics and crash logs are collected via Google Analytics for Firebase to maintain technical performance and app stability (see Section 7).
2. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Services & Third-Party Data Processing
Professor Gmee integrates third-party artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and models to power interactive educational tools, automated content analysis, learning feedback, and contextual study assistance.
A. Data Transmission to Third-Party AI Providers
When you submit text, queries, prompts, subjective answers, or files through any AI-powered interface within the application, that content is transmitted via secure, encrypted Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to external third-party AI service providers for real-time processing and response generation.
B. Third-Party Data Usage & Provider Policies
You acknowledge and understand that third-party AI companies and cloud service providers receive the data you submit. These third-party AI providers may process, retain, and use submitted inputs, queries, and generated outputs in accordance with their own respective terms of service and privacy policies, which may include operational monitoring, safety filtering, system optimization, research, model evaluation, or model training.
C. Mandatory User Precaution & Sole Responsibility
Strict Precaution Required: Because submitted data is shared with and processed by third-party AI providers, you must exercise extreme caution. Do NOT submit, enter, or upload any Personally Identifiable Information (PII), confidential details, passwords, contact credentials, financial records, or sensitive personal data into any AI input field.
You agree that you are solely, exclusively, and entirely responsible for any data, text, or content you submit into the AI features. Professor Gmee assumes zero responsibility or liability for any consequences arising from personal, confidential, or sensitive information you voluntarily input.
D. Educational Disclaimer & Output Accuracy
All AI-generated responses, feedback, summaries, and suggestions are automated machine outputs provided solely for self-study and general guidance. Artificial intelligence may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. AI outputs do not represent certified academic evaluations, accredited examination scores, or professional academic counsel.
3. Prohibited Use, Misuse & User Liability
You agree to use Professor Gmee and all integrated AI features strictly for lawful, legitimate educational purposes. Any misuse, exploitation, or malicious activity against the application or its underlying infrastructure is strictly prohibited. Forbidden conduct includes, but is not limited to:
- Adversarial Attacks & Prompt Injection: Attempting to jailbreak, manipulate system instructions, inject malicious prompts, or circumvent safety protocols, content moderation systems, and operational boundaries of the AI services.
- Harmful & Unlawful Content: Utilizing AI features to generate, request, analyze, or distribute hate speech, sexually explicit material, abusive or harassing content, violent threats, defamatory statements, or any material violating applicable national or international laws.
- Infrastructure Abuse & Scraping: Conducting denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, spamming API endpoints, bypassing rate limits, or employing automated scripts, bots, spiders, or scrapers to extract application assets or model outputs.
- Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, reverse engineering, disassembling, or attempting to discover source code, internal prompts, or backend architectures.
Any unauthorized use, exploitation, or attack on the platform or its integrated third-party AI interfaces will result in immediate termination of access. The user shall be held individually, fully, and legally liable for all damages, third-party claims, infrastructure costs, regulatory penalties, and legal expenses resulting from their misuse or violation of these terms.
4. Internet Usage & Cloud Delivery
Certain functionality within the app requires an active network connection.
Network access is utilized exclusively for:
- Fetching syllabus materials, mind maps, educational feeds, and cloud-hosted assets from secure hosting infrastructure (such as Cloudflare networks).
- Transmitting user requests to third-party AI APIs for real-time response generation.
- Delivering application updates, patches, and curriculum refinements.
Internet access is never used to covertly monitor, collect, or exfiltrate private user files or background data.
5. Data Storage & Local Persistence
Professor Gmee stores non-sensitive, operational data locally within your device's isolated application sandbox, including:
- Locally downloaded study materials for offline learning
- Bookmarked chapters and reading preferences
- Self-practice progress and objective question logs
This information remains entirely on your personal device and is not collected, centralized, or monetized on remote external user databases.
6. Advertising
Currently, Professor Gmee does not serve third-party ads, preserving an interruption-free study environment.
If privacy-compliant third-party advertising partners (such as Google AdMob) are integrated in the future, this policy will be revised to detail their non-personal advertising identifiers and consent procedures.
7. Analytics
To maintain high service availability and fix software defects, Professor Gmee uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect aggregated, non-personal operational metrics.
This diagnostic information comprises:
- Device Specifications: Device model, OS version, language preferences, and approximate geographical region.
- App Interaction Metrics: Screen flow, session duration, and feature engagement.
- System Reliability: Automated crash reports and error logs for debugging.
All analytics data is anonymized and devoid of Personally Identifiable Information (PII). It cannot identify individual users.
For more details on Google's privacy standards, visit Google's Privacy & Terms Policy .
8. Children's Privacy
Professor Gmee is designed as a curriculum study companion primarily intended for secondary school students (aged 13 and above).
We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under 13.
If we discover that personal data has been inadvertently submitted by a child under 13 through any input interface, we will take immediate measures to permanently remove such data.
9. Data Security
Because Professor Gmee avoids maintaining remote user account databases, risks of personal profile data breaches are eliminated.
All communication with cloud delivery services (Cloudflare) and third-party AI APIs is enforced strictly via industry-standard encrypted HTTPS / TLS protocols.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to revise this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect technological changes, AI safety updates, or legal requirements.
Updated policies will be posted on this page with a revised "Effective Date" at the top.
Continued use of the application following policy updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
